Small, rugged jaw crushers ideal for preparation of rock samples for
chemical or other analysis in the laboratory. They have a feed opening of 2" x 2",
with a maximum recommended feed size of approximately 1". Discharge size is
adjustable to a minimum of approximately 1/8". Crusher throughput is approximately 1/4 lb. per minute
for 1/8" product. Jaws and cheek plates are available made from 85% alumina
ceramic, tungsten carbide, or hardened tool steel.
Ceramic, tungsten carbide and steel jaw plates are interchangeable on all jaw crushers manufactured after 1993. |
Jaw frame is heavy welded steel to prove rigid support and years of hard use. Bearings are heavy duty, sealed, and oil lubricated for long, trouble-free life. Powered by 1/4 hp 115V/1ph/60 Hz motor. 220V 50-60Hz motor is also available. Comes with stainless steel sample tray. Weight of crusher, motor, and base: 50 lbs.

Laboratory PulverizerCompanion pulverizers to the laboratory jaw crushers for taking material from a maximum of approximately 1/4" size to a fineness of 40 to 200 mesh. Designed especially for preparing samples of approximately one to twenty grams prior to analysis. They have a feed opening of 3/8" diameter, ceramic or tungsten carbide plates, and are easy to use, easy to clean, and have a quick action closure. Direction of rotation of the pulverizer can be reversed for equalized wear and increased plate life. Pulverized material drops directly into sample envelope or container with very little sample loss. Powered by 1/3 hp 115V motor. |
