Dual Blade Rock Saw |

Specifically designed to slice 1" (nominal) diameter rock cores for paleomagnetic analysis, ASC's dual blade saw provides uniform length samples with a minimum of effort. Diamond blades are water cooled and can be adjusted to provide sample lengths between 0.70" and 1.31". Samples are held by a solid aluminum holder which travels on low friction UHMWPE guides which require no lubrication. The chassis is all aluminum plate with welded construction and an attractive hard anodized finish. |
Power is provided by a totally enclosed 1/4 hp motor with stainless steel arbor. Price includes two MK-303 Professional 6" x .040 x 5/8 steel continuous rim blades, splash guard, and a foot operated switch. Non-magnetic bronze blades are also available.
