ASC Scientific offers many different shipping options, including ground and expedited delivery via USPS, FedEx, UPS, Ground Freight, Air Freight and Ocean Freight. If a product includes free delivery, we will choose the most economical delivery method.
When will my order ship after placing an order?
ASC Scientific is dedicated to getting your orders shipped as quickly as possible. Orders will ship only during work hours which are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST excluding federal holidays. If you are on a deadline, please contact us prior to placing your order to ensure it will arrive within your timeframe.
Stocked Product Orders
Stocked product orders placed Monday-Friday before 1pm EST will ship the same day while orders placed after 1pm will ship the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or a holiday will ship on the following business day. In-Stock items ship from Rhode Island and the transit time to your location is listed in the shopping cart.
Backordered Products are products that are out of stock but we expect them to be back in stock at some point in the future. All backordered items should have an estimated lead time listed on the product page. This lead time is an estimate provided by the manufacturer and is subject to change without notice. If you have a combination of in stock and backordered items in your shopping cart, you will have the the following options:
Partial Shipment: In stock items will ship immediately while backordered items will ship when they arrive
Ship Complete: In stock items will be held for you until backordered items arrive for the complete order to ship.
USPS transit times displayed in the shopping cart are estimates and not guaranteed.
Express Shipping transit times via FedEx or UPS are based on business days. For example, an order shipped on Friday via Overnight will arrive on Monday while 2-Day Air will arrive on Tuesday. Please note that these services are not always guaranteed by UPS/FedEx and some orders may arrive later than their intended delivery date. Express shipping requests does not expedite the lead time for backordered items.
Drop Shipped Orders
Items that are drop shipped are marked as such on the product page. The lead times for these products vary by the item and company. We do our best to provide current lead times on the product page, however these are estimates and are subject to change by the manufacturer. We will confirm the estimated ship date after the order is placed and will provide tracking information when the order is in transit. Please contact us if you would like us to confirm the estimated lead time with the manufacturer prior to ordering.
Express Shipping of drop shipped items will only expedite shipment transit time and will not expedite the lead time. For example, if a product has a two week lead time and you request overnight shipping, you will still need to wait the two weeks before the order is overnighted to you.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. ASC Scientific may ask for photos before authorizing a return. In most cases, ASC Scientific will provide a shipping label to return your item and we will replace it free of charge or issue a full refund.
